You're invited to the Play Work's Children's Therapies OPEN HOUSE scheduled for Wednesday February 21st 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. You will have the opportunity to check out our beautiful new 2100 sq ft clinic, featuring 7 individual treatment rooms in addition to our feeding therapy and nutrition kitchen! Our full staff of pediatric therapy professionals will be there to answer any questions you have regarding the development of your child.

Play Works is a multidisciplinary clinic offering Spanish/English and Bilingual speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, and massage therapy services. We are often asked "What makes you different and sets you apart?" - I have a bit of a bias in my reply, so come see for yourself!

Our therapists are subject matter experts covering an array of evidence based treatments for children with feeding disorders, sensory integration disorders, language based learning disabilities, bilingual Spanish/English language development, speech sound disorders, stuttering, torticollis, and gait abnormalities, just to name a few.

Play Work's Children's Therapies is nationally regarded for it's intensive programming in the area of Childhood Apraxia of Speech, a neurological motor speech disorder affecting 1 in 1000 children with speech sound disorders. Since opening in 2016, families have traveled in from as far as Delaware to participate in the 2-week intensive program. This year we will grow our program to offer both physical therapy for children with global apraxia and occupational therapy for children with comorbid sensory integration deficits.

In addition to our insurance based services, Play Works brings supplemental children's programming to the Gorge including our Two's Days early language program, Sensory Science Kids, Loving Touch Infant Massage, and Breakfast Club (for picky eaters and problem feeders). We will host a monthly parent support group (Hood River PLAE - Parents Listening Advocating Educating) meeting for local families with children who have exceptional needs.

We are here to best support the needs of our growing community, and look forward to hearing from you regarding supports and programming you are seeking! We can't wait to see you soon!
