BEHAVIOR HEALTH INTERVENTIONIST
Play Works Children’s Therapies is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic located in Hood River, Oregon, servicing the greater Columbia River Gorge region . Play Works provides Speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, feeding therapy/nutrition services and NOW APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS for children with behavioral disorders.

Our multi-dimensional approach involves clinical, in-home, school, and community support for children ages 2 years to 19 years of age, individuating treatment to the specific and unique needs of our patients. Small Caseloads: All behavior interventionists have caseloads of no more than 3-4 children in a given week.
Our clinic provides a collaborative treatment setting, where behavior interventionists are collaborating with Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapies.
Diverse Treatment Environments include: (a) Early Intervention Program (in-clinic), (b) Intensive in-home behavioral treatment (d) Transition Team (e) After School Program

What is a Behavior Interventionist?
A behavior interventionist is a direct service technician who works directly with children (under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst) in need of behavior intervention. A behavior interventionist will follow a structured treatment plan written by a licensed behavior analyst with the objective of improving socially significant behavior of the child. Behavior interventions are generally recommended from the child’s pediatrician, psychologist, or psychiatrist directly to Play Works Children’s Therapies. For this position, behavior interventionists will conduct therapy in our pediatric clinic, located in Hood River, in the child’s home, school or possibly with the family in the community.

Work directly with children needing treatment for behavior challenges.
Receive training and supervision on evidence-based interventions weekly from a licensed behavior analyst.

Experience with working with children ages 2-19.
Able to lift at least 20 pounds.
Experience working collaboratively with therapeutic teams.
Able to follow treatment plans with fidelity.
Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
Capable of receiving constructive feedback in order to improve job performance.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required
PEDIATRIC PHYSICAL THERAPIST-PART TIME
We are looking for a licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our current team of pediatric specialists.
PT services are provided individually in our state of the art 3200 square foot facility that is family friendly and play-based.

OR Physical Therapist License and Pediatric PT experience required.
New grads with a strong Pediatrics clinical rotation will be considered. Play Works has an excellent mentorship program.
Part time clinic position- flexible start date. This position can grow to a full time position.
